Since my death and subsequent rebirth, I have found myself undeniably attuned to Corruption of all kinds. It calls to me. It draws me close and holds me like a mother holds her child. I recognize it in everything. I see it everywhere.

But nowhere do I feel it more strongly than in Teldrassil. Perhaps that is why I have been spending so much time there recently. The Tree, home of the night elves, is dying. It is filled with Corruption of the most pernicious and wonderful kind. When I go there, I can smell it. I can feel the corruption in every leaf and blade of grass. I can revel it in, and drink it into my very pores.

I see the basic Corruption of Teldrassil echoed in the elves themselves. The Moon Priestess and her two guards try to fight it, but they will fail to defeat it, even as they fail to defeat me. I suppose they see me as a more clear form of that Corruption that lies at the heart of their lives. Perhaps that is why they love and hate me so.

Some of the elves embrace the Corruption. When they see me, they smile, and bow, and hug me, and want to be near me. They dance with me in wild abandon, the joy of the Corruption filling them.

And when I turn and display for them the inevitable result of their corrupted life, even when I show them, in the dark red blood of their brethren, still they dance. They look upon the bloody remains of their own, and rejoice, tearing off their clothing to dance naked and ecstatic in the realization that all is Corrupted. Corruption is the true state of the Universe.

I am their symbol. I am their true Goddess.

Come to me, ye lost night elves, and let me teach you the ways of Corruption.

[That was possibly THE most poetic twist of OOC-reactions into a roleplay story that I have EVER seen. Creative, and inspired in the best of ways; almost satirical in nature, on several levels.

I. Love. It. *applause*]

(( How do you get night elves naked? Not that I would use this information, *cough* but just out of curiosity? :D
I have to agree with Gavril; very nicely done indeed.))

((Actaully, it is not against TOS if you do not use it to alter gameplay, IE I can change my models, but not to use it to see a gnome better or a dwarf. I use it because I get bored. And because My trolls are teh shmeck))

((A lot of people use that mod more than I thought. Even I have it lying around somewhere, just out of curiosity.))

((A friend of mine asked why there wasn't a male version, and Nojinbu and I explained that you can't do that because it would require polygon extrusions. He then went on to add, about himself,

"Oh man, I don't think Max units can handle that type of extrusion..."

kekekeke, 3d geek joke.))

((Actually, the way to get night elves naked is just to stand there and smile. They do the rest. At least it works for me, but then, I'm a Goddess :) ))

(( Love it, Clys. Man, nothing is better than when an OOC action can be turned around to an RP story. SO GOOD.

By the way, just to prep you, and this may be hearsay anyway, I think this mod may be broken with 1.11--I'm pretty sure that mods that change model textures won't be able to do so anymore. I buzz through the UI & Interface forum a lot and it was discussed a few days ago in a thread I can't find now, and it's not in the documented 1.11 changes that I can find, but I KNOW I read about it. ))

((Thanks for the kudos. This story might just lead to other...happenings...somewhat more mmm...scripted. :) ))

(( How'd the mod working in 1.11? Never used it so I don't know, but I'm curious. ))

((It doesn't, not any more. Has something to do with the MPQ files, as that WoW won't recognize anything that's not within them.))
