Wikipedia and the books themselves are great sources of information, but for a quick and well-done rundown of the various factions in WH, the folks at Warhammer Alliance have put this up:

I meant to mention this earlier, but if you have links to other useful websites, reply to this thread so we can keep them all in one spot.

And keep the spam levels down...I don't want to have to wade through 15 pages of lolcats to find links!

I was just about to ask if I can link some fairly useful material that I have found. As much as the first link is umm...helpful it doesn't delve into much past some basics that well are essential. Though I will put out that I have not at all looked up most Order raises and there is almost a plathera of overwhelming Chaos information on WHA forums. From other threads I have posted these in:

http://www.warhammeralliance.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3667bs.marketwatch.com/

http://www.warhammeralliance.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4978

http://www.warhammeralliance.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7999 (Something Yuse might like about the Norsemen)

This I am about to post is very bias, to me I've read through every page of the thread and her arguements are equally countered. I get a closed minded RPer out of this but its still a VERY nice source of information about DEs and specially for anyone thinking about Disciple of Khaine to know what exactly your getting into:

http://www.warhammeralliance.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25338

Daed if you can edit your first post to place these along with your orginal link it will help so people can navigate to these threads without having to scroll down unproductive posts like lolcats to get to.

Edit: Also I recommend anyone with a strong interest in Chaos look up the warhammer books Libra Chaotica and Tome of Corruption :D
