Haven't seen this before, and haven't really gotten a chance to look through it yet...but I definitely will before I roll up another troll.

They've gotta be my favorite horde race next to Tauren. :o

No, I haven't either. It mentions Zul'Drak as having been a smaller kindgom in and around Northrend.

It might be that we will find remenants of the "Drakkari" when the Necropolis reveals itself.

I think they wrote this up to set up another twist in lore they're planning to make to support a future gameplay set-up. This way they could point to it later and qualify whatever changes they are going to make without people getting up in arms and shouting "Spaceships, wtf?!?"

Oooh, they're Ice Trolls.

The Gundraki empire was in the North. It was a very small Kingdom compared to Gurubashi and Amani. When the Sundering Occured, the majority of the "Drakkari" trolls were separated in what became Northrend.

Zul'Drak is near the Dragonblight, where the Ice Trolls lived with relative peace with Malygos, although a human encampment evolved from barbarians still living there (Which would all later become scourged and serve to become Ner'zhul's first army).

Though not incredibly strong in power, the Gundrak Kingdom most likely kept Azjol'Nerub in check from overwhelming the Kingdom. Also, because trolls seem somewhat incredibly resilient to succumbing to the Scourge (most likely due to their regeneration in some form or another), they are the strongest rebels against IceCrown.
